Lab Technician
Our client, a reputed manufacturing and one of the 500 Fortune company is seeking a Lab Technician to join their team. As a Lab. Technician, you will be part of the QC Lab - Chemical/Pliot Plant supporting the complex application of chemistry lab. The ideal candidate will have strong communication, analytical skills and good at attention to details which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title:

Cottage Grove, MN 100% Onsite. Working Hours:
Work a rotating schedule with 12-hour shifts. The laboratory uses a 2-2-3 Pitman schedule. What's the Job? Operate various analytical instruments (GC, HPLC, etc.) to test materials at a pilot development facility and chemical factory. Analyze samples and report results electronically. Hold or release products based on findings. Conduct special tests to investigate production issues and support test method validation. Adhere to safety regulations and standard operating procedures (SOPs) for handling hazardous materials and confidential information. Calibrate lab equipment, prepare and maintain analytical standards, and perform routine maintenance. Communicate effectively with various stakeholders (operators, engineers, managers). Inspect raw materials, validate certificates, and assist with sample shipping. Assist with research, train technicians, and participate in continuous improvement projects. What's Needed? Qualification:
Minimum:
Associate's degree
3 years of lab/manufacturing experience. Preferred:
Bachelor's degree in science
1 year QC lab experience
